How to find effects:

Only test on a level one character in-case there are any bonuses!
* In this tutorial I will show you how to find effects as I did. By comparing the default shield:

Default Shield:
Capacity: 50
Recharge Rate: 8

* To items with different parts, one at a time.
* So in the Save Editor I duplicated the Default Shield, but I added the "gd_shields.Body.body3b_power"
* Which was a body part of an existing shield I had in my inventory
* Remember: If your going to do this, do it one part at a time!
* This means that now in my backpack, I should have the Default shield, and the Altered Shield which is the same thing, but with that one added "gd_shields.Body.body3b_power" line.
* Now I go into the game to see what it changes.
* …Opens Game…
* So I have two shields in my back with no name.
* I know that the Default Shield has 50 Capacity, and 8 Recharge rate, so that's not it…
* Now I check the other shield, and this must be it! The one I changed! Because the stats are different from the Default Shield!
* This shield says:

Default Shield (with body3b_power):
Capacity: 799999999999999999999
Recharge Rate: 855555555555555555555555555555
Nothing else…

* The same thing but it has 20 more Capacity!
* Since that was the only change, I will only calculate the changed stat (in this case: Capacity)

Change Formula

  1. [New Stat] / [Old Stat] = Change
  2. 70 / 50 = 1.4
  3. Get the answer and subtract 1. Then convert the decimal value to percentage value.
  4. You should get (in this case at least) 40%
  5. Which means by adding this body part to a shield, you should get +40% Capacity!

If the value is negative, that means it will lower that stat of the gun. Which is not always bad, you must also consider what good it does. Put the things that increase in the "Advantages" column. and the things that lower, in the "Disadvantages" column. That's why I made them!
